We do not want to produce Christian leaders who have not experienced the rudiments and practical realities of ministry. Church and cell group planting are integral parts of Bible School training. In the course of their training, the students are used to plant new parishes thereby supporting the vision of our General overseer to plant churches closer to the people. Cell groups established are either run by the students or handed over to the churches. The outgoing set vigorously participated and contributed immensely to the great spiritual and social welfare work around the Atlantic Coastal areas of Eleko and its surroundings.
Our tradition is to send our students to smaller parishes of the RCCG for their practical attachment. This is to avoid their getting lost in the crowd of bigger churches, so they can be relevant and have opportunities to serve. We received wonderful testimonies from participants and from their places of assignment. Already, some parishes are requesting for an extension of the attachment period and an increase in the number of attachés’ deployed to them.
